La historia detrás de esta cita
Sherr closed her speech by invoking Susan B. Anthony, who at age 82 in 1902 had said, 'There is so much yet to be done. The young blood, fresh with enthusiasm, must carry on the work.' Sherr connected this directly to the Wellesley graduates, framing them as the next generation in a long chain of women who had fought for equality. Her generation had smashed barriers so that these young women could walk through any doorway they chose. Now it was their turn to pay it forward. The final words were both a charge and a promise — that the older generation of women who had prepared the way would be right beside them, always.
