It's one of the best qualities to have, the ability to reset after you've taken a hard hit. I've had the pleasure and privilege of seeing the human spirit in full flight in incredible ways.

La historia detrás de esta cita
Drawing on decades of covering world-class athletes — from tennis champions who lost heartbreaking finals to Olympic athletes who overcame devastating injuries — Carillo spoke about resilience with the authority of someone who had witnessed it at the highest levels of human performance. The 'ability to reset' was a sports metaphor that translated perfectly to life. In tennis, you lose a set and you have to walk to the other side of the court and start again with the same opponent who just beat you. In life, the setbacks are different — a failed business, a broken relationship, a health crisis — but the skill is identical. You have to be able to take the hit, process it, and then show up ready to compete again.
