I mandate it. That you continue to dream the wild dreams that you dreamed when you were young.

La historia detrás de esta cita
In his most passionate moment, Tomlin moved from encouragement to a direct mandate, insisting that graduates never stop dreaming. He warned that the reality of adulthood, workplaces, and workforces can inhibit the ability to dream, but that the extraordinary people he encounters in every field of human endeavor share one common trait: they dream wild, limitless, unimaginable dreams. Tomlin told the graduates that the only difference between the dreams before graduation and after is that now they must make the daily commitment to take action, to turn those dreams into reality. He closed with a rallying cry: dream, and dream big, and don't listen to the naysayers, because they'll outnumber support a hundred to one.
