Do not confuse dreams with wishes. Dreams are where you visualize yourself being successful at what's important to you to accomplish. Dreams build convictions because you work hard to pay the price to make sure that they come true. Wishes are hoping good things will happen to you, but there's no fire in your gut.

L'histoire derrière cette citation
Dolly Parton recalled the night she graduated from Sevier County High School in 1964, when each student was asked to stand up and share their plans. She stood up and announced she was going to Nashville to become a star, and the whole auditorium erupted in laughter. But the embarrassment never shook her from her dreams. She told the University of Tennessee graduates that there is a crucial difference between dreams and wishes — dreams carry the fire and conviction to make things happen, while wishes are just passive hope. She urged them to dream boldly and never blame others if their dreams don't come true.
