L'histoire derrière cette citation

Near the end of his valedictorian address, Chiu offered this succinct trio of imperatives as his generation's manifesto. He had described his classmates as 'a generation growing up with a new enterprise of science and technology' with 'far more opportunities to contribute to humanity' than previous generations. What made this advice distinctive was its source. Chiu was not an accomplished adult looking back on decades of experience, but a young teenager looking forward with genuine optimism. Earlier in the speech, he had described arriving at Halsey for the first time — confused by the cameras on walls, overwhelmed by the independence, and searching desperately for a familiar face. His own transformation from that anxious sixth-grader to the confident speaker on stage embodied the very message he was delivering. His call to embrace failure was particularly poignant for a valedictorian — someone who had clearly succeeded by traditional measures — choosing to tell his peers that the real path forward required risk-taking rather than perfection.
