If what you want is different than what you have, then you need to change what you are doing.

इस उद्धरण के पीछे की कहानी
Smith attributed this quote to his college coach at Utah, Urban Meyer, who would deliver this line right before asking the team to do something crazy. But the simplicity of the idea belied its power: it was a direct challenge to the human tendency to keep doing the same thing while hoping for different results. Smith described how this principle helped him throughout his career — every time that little voice in his head tried to get him to take the easy way out, he would remind himself that wanting something different required doing something different. It was particularly relevant to his own story: after being the first overall pick and struggling for years, he had to fundamentally change his approach rather than simply trying harder at the same failing strategy. For graduates entering a world of uncertainty, the advice was bracingly practical. Don't just wish for change — make change. And if your current path isn't leading where you want to go, have the courage to alter course rather than hoping the destination will somehow come to you.
