Some dreams are bad dreams. All these people dream their dreams and work hard and achieve their dreams. Personal triumphs are overrated.

Great necessities call out great virtues. We live in a time of great necessities — a time when we cannot avoid the burdens of global leadership.

If wise men decline it, others will not; if honest men refuse it, others will not.

You can't climb the ladder of success with your hands in your pockets.

Recognize that you are the change you seek. You are the great agents of change in the world. You can adapt, you can embrace, you can respond in ways that will better your life and better the life of your society. You cannot ignore them. You cannot fight them. But what you can do is adapt and make the world a better place.

You are brilliant, and the earth is hiring. The earth couldn't afford to send any recruiters or limos to your school. It sent you rain, sunsets, ripe cherries, night blooming jasmine, and that unbelievably cute person you are dating. Take the hint.

We do not need magic to change the world, we carry all the power we need inside ourselves already: we have the power to imagine better.

True success is measured in how you play the game of life — that you honor those that have come before you by playing the game with great integrity, with honor and class.

Memorials are the way we make promises to the future about the past.

The barrier to change is not too little caring. It is too much complexity.

From those to whom much is given, much is expected.
