He pointed out that the girlfriend from his own graduation was now his wife, sitting in the audience with their four children. His mother, who had faced his father's manic-depressive disorder with courage, kindness, and optimism for 30 years, was also there. With that living proof of perseverance before them, he delivered this final challenge to the class of 2015.
