Sometimes you have to take calculated risks and roll the dice, or risk growing old and having to say, 'I could have been....'

A história por trás desta citação
Uslan illustrated this principle through his own career arc. After writing Batman comics at DC, he stared out the window of his Bloomington apartment and decided he wanted to produce the dark, serious Batman movie. When the President of DC Comics told him Batman was 'dead as a Dodo' in Hollywood, Uslan didn't give up — he developed a Plan B through law school, became an entertainment lawyer, learned how to finance and produce films, and eventually 'snuck in the back door of the creative side.' He found a partner and mentor in Ben Melniker, the former Executive VP of MGM, and together they raised money and bought the rights to Batman. Believing he had a 51% chance of success, he quit his stable job and rolled the dice.
