You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself in any direction you choose.

The thing you fear most in this life is the thing you will become when you grow old.

Coming back is the thing that enables you to see how all the dots in your life are connected, how one decision leads you to another, how one twist of fate, good or bad, brings you to a door that later takes you to another door.

Sometimes not having any idea where we're going works out better than we could possibly have imagined.

There is nothing more beautiful than finding your course as you believe you bob aimlessly in the current. Wouldn't you know that your path was there all along, waiting for you to knock, waiting for you to become.

Your path is your character defining itself more and more every day like a photograph coming into focus, like a color that becomes more vivid in contrast with its surroundings.

Do not waste it trying to become someone you're not. Use it to become who you are already.

I see the otherness of the other, which appeals to me. In fact, it is the otherness of the other that makes me who I am.

Live your own life, not the life that others expect of you. The only life worth living is one that is truly your own.

If you believe in yourself, others will too. And if you have confidence in who you are, there is no end to what you can accomplish.

You can't connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backward. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future.

The most obvious, important realities are often the ones that are hardest to see and talk about.
