Courage

I believe that if people are not laughing at your ambitions and your goals, then your dreams are not big enough.

Life is too short to have anything but delusional notions about yourself.

One thing is for sure — if you never try, you're never going to win.

The most important thing in your life is to live your life with integrity and not to give in to peer pressure to try to be something that you're not, to live your life as an honest and compassionate person, to contribute in some way.

A lot of other folk will tell you that the sky is falling. I will not tell you that the sky is falling. I will say that those are pennies from heaven. Because I've seen this movie before and I know how it turns out.

You shouldn't be afraid to let passion get behind the wheel — you might really love where you end up.

Failure will teach you things that you can learn no place else. How else will you know yourself or the strength of your friendships until both have been tested by adversity?

Trust yourself. Dig deep down and ask yourselves, who do you want to be? Not what, but who.

You can't be paralyzed by fear of failure or you will never push yourself. You push yourself because you believe in yourself and in your vision.

Standing up for one's own integrity makes you no friends. It is costly. Yet defiance of the mob, in the service of that which is right, is one of the highest expressions of courage I know.

Find the courage to do things you are not ready to do. Doing something you are not ready to do isn't comfortable. But in pushing through this discomfort you will learn a lot more about yourself.

There is another path to take. It's hard work. You'll be right sometimes, you'll be wrong sometimes. People will doubt you, you'll doubt yourself. But if you are doing something you want and have a passion for, at least you'll have that to guide you.
